A magical story for little explorers, treasure collectors and children who still believe forests might be listening.
Get the English BookA little forest world for curious hearts
Tiny Kakawumpel is small enough to hide beneath a leaf — and curious enough to turn an ordinary walk through the forest into the loveliest adventure.
A warm, beautifully illustrated story about nature, wonder and the treasures grown-ups sometimes forget to see.
Made for reading aloud, wandering outside and looking twice

Please approach quietly

Meet Tiny Kakawumpel
Tiny has a blue cap, a very serious dummy and approximately seventeen questions before breakfast.
Why do nettles sting?
What are stars doing in the grass?
Could a dandelion be a tiny piece of fallen sunshine?
If there is a puddle, Tiny will find it. If there is a beetle, he will need to know where it is going.
Meet his big sister Milli
Milli notices what the forest almost whispered too quietly.
The smallest daisy.
The quietest butterfly.
The warmest patch of sunshine beneath a leaf.
While Tiny has already hurried around the next bend, Milli is still looking at the flower he nearly stepped over.

The first Wumpelworld adventure
Tiny Kakawumpel and the Forest Treasures is not a loud adventure. It is the kind of story that makes children look more closely.
For curious little hearts
Questions, discoveries and tiny surprises.
For slower family moments
Made for cuddling close and reading aloud.
For adventures beyond the book
Because the loveliest stories continue outside.
EnglishA tiny peek is allowed
Tiny says looking is allowed. Milli says clean fingers would be appreciated.

Every now and then, a tiny letter leaves the Wumpel Forest. It may contain a miniature story, something lovely to discover outside—or a message Tiny was probably supposed to keep to himself.
Wumpelpost is on its way
The tiny post office is still being prepared. Tiny is sorting the letters, and Milli is making sure every address is written carefully.
Wumpelpost will begin its journey through the forest very soon.
The heart behind Wumpelworld
Tiny Kakawumpel began as a funny little name for my youngest son. Then he grew a blue cap, a wonderfully curious mind and an entire forest around him.
I am Rebecca—mother of four, storyteller and the person who writes down the things the Wumpels whisper when everyone else is asleep.
After our family lost almost everything in the Cyprus wildfire, Wumpelworld became my way of beginning again—and of creating something no fire could take away: imagination, closeness and the ability to find treasure in the smallest things.
